Mercier Bridge overnight closures begin tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has been informed by the Ministère des transport du Quebec that closures to prepare for upcoming work on the Mercier Bridge will take place overnight tonight (Wednesday, May 10th) and Thursday, May 11th.

The closures are as follows:
-    Wednesday from 8pm to 5am
Montreal-bound reduced to one lane for slab repairs

-    Thursday from 10pm until 5am
Mobile signalization work on Route 132 and Route 138 on both the South and North shore of the St. Lawrence River

The upcoming work on the Mercier Bridge is scheduled from Friday, May 12th until Monday, May 15th with details to be announced shortly.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
