Notice from Public Safety re Chateauguay Drone

The Public Safety Unit (PSU) of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke would like to inform the community that officials from the city of Chateauguay have notified the PSU that a drone will be flying near the Kahnaw�:ke border tomorrow, Friday, May 19 and possibly Saturday, May 20 to drop pellets for mosquito control.

Chateauguay officials are fully aware of the Kahnaw�:ke boundary and say the drone should NOT be over the territory.

Chateauguay is informing Kahnaw�:ke as part of a courtesy agreement that was arranged last year when they accidentally flew over the boundary and caused concern.
