Recreation Bay Detailed Design Public Open House TODAY

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to invite all community members to a public open house today at the Golden Age Club from 6pm to 9pm with a formal presentation at 6:30pm.

The presentation will be the preliminary design for the restoration of the Recreation Bay (Johnson�s Beach) area including a strategy for removing excess sediment, reducing nuisance aquatic plants and enhancing the shoreline and other natural areas in the bay. KEPO staff and their consultant, AECOM, will be on-hand to discuss the various aspects of the work.

Your input is very important to ensuring that the project meets the needs of the community. Feedback will be gathered throughout the evening.

Light refreshments will be provided.
