Latest Survey on Kahnawake Land Issues now online

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke is seeking feedback from Kahnawa′kehr�:non on issues related to Common Lands, Land Tenure and Lack of Land. The latest survey is now available online www.kahnawake.com/landsurvey .

The Lands Unit is looking for new ideas based on long-standing issues related to Land in Kahnaw�:ke and, most importantly, hope to obtain direction from the community on the future of Kahnaw�:ke lands.

"The feedback we get from these surveys helps a great deal with the development of the framework; it paints a clearer picture of how the community feels about different land related matters," said Land Use Planning Coordinator Cole McComber. "There are plenty of opportunities in the survey to leave unique feedback.
