Ongoing Works

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) would like to inform the Community of the work being performed in the Clay Mountains area (see map below). Works should be completed by September 22nd, 2017. 

The MCK retained the services of SNC-Lavalin GEM Quebec Inc. to carry out a soil characterization (testing) of the material stock piled at this location. The soil testing includes 37 test pits to determine the quality of the material.

The purpose of the soil characterization is to verify if the soils can be used as backfill material for future MCK projects.
