Tioweroton Community Meeting September 23rd

The Lands Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform all Kahnawa′kehró:non that the Tioweró:ton Special Community Meeting has been changed to a ‘Community Picnic’ with no formal agenda. The event will take place on Saturday, September 23rd in Tioweró:ton.

"Throughout the years we have noticed that the interaction with Community Members before and after the meeting provides us with more suggestions and feedback than during a formal meeting," stated Tioweró:ton Coordinator Tara McComber.  "We are hoping that community members will be more comfortable with more one on one interaction to discuss their concerns."
