Test of Emergency Alert Siren in LaSalle TODAY

The Public Safety Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise the community that the Labatt Brewery in LaSalle is participating in a Montreal city-wide Alert Siren Test taking place today (November 14th) between 2 - 2:30 pm. The siren may be heard in Kahnaw�:ke.

The test is to verify the proper function of equipment and the state of preparedness of all emergency responders to reduce the risks associated with a major industrial accident. During the test, citizens will not be required to take any specific actions.
