The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke Waste Management Department (WMD) wishes to notify the community that the recycle collection truck is back in operation and making regularly scheduled pickups.

The truck had been out of commission since March 6 following a hydraulic fuel leak requiring a cylinder to be replaced. The part was on back order, causing the delay in repairs.

The WMD apologizes for the inconvenience this may have caused and reminds community members to place only recyclable materials in the blue bin.
