MCK meets with Chateauguay Mayor and City Council

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Chateauguay Mayor Pierre-Paul Routhier, four members of his city council, and the city manager are in Kahnawà:ke this morning to meet with Chief & Council.

The meeting is the first since Mayor Routhier was elected for his first term in 2017, replacing Nathalie Simon. The informal agenda includes the relationship between the two communities; our history; economic development; and other issues of mutual concern.

The meeting is scheduled for two hours.
