Kahnawake Legislative Coordinating Commission seeks Community Representative

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to inform Kahnawa’kehró:non that they are seeking one person to sit as a Community Representative on the KLCC.
Interested persons should be over eighteen (18) years of age, be registered on the Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke and have a sincere interest in the Community Decision Making Process. The person selected will be expected to participate in KLCC meetings (approximately 12 times per year) and activities. There will be financial remuneration for this position.
The person selected will be formally appointed by KLCC for a three-year term with the option of being reappointed consecutively.
Interested persons are asked to submit a letter of intent by Friday, 1 Ohiarí:ha/June 2018 at 4pm to the attention of either of the persons indicated below.
