Annual Tree Giveaway Friday May 11th

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) is pleased to announce that the Annual Tree Giveaway will be held Friday, May 11th from 8:30am to 4pm at the new KEPO building, located between the Kahnawake Sports Complex and the Peacekeepers.

Approximately 1,500 trees will be available for planting in the community. KEPO is urging community members to drop by as early as possible due to high demand. Please bring a bag or bucket to transport the trees. Community members may take up to five (5) trees per household.

Trees are provided by the Ministry of Forests, Fauna and Parks, and are distributed by the 4H Clubs of Quebec.

The event will take place rain or shine.
