Big News for Kahnawą:ke Businesses and Schools

The Kahnawą:ke Waste Management Department has recently joined the Mira Foundation, which has a laser printer and inkjet cartridge recycling program for businesses and schools to help protect the environment and fund a Mira dog.
Please place the accepted ink cartridges (listed below) in a box aside from your regular recyclables on your regular recycling pick-up day.
The ink cartridges accepted are:
- Lexmark
- Canon
- Dell
- Hewlett Packard
- Brother
- Samsung
Ink Cartridges not accepted:
- Xerox (please follow directions on the box to recycle Xerox ink cartridge)
- Konica Minolta
- Kyocera
- Toshiba
- Ricoh
- Oki
Though this program is intended for schools and businesses, individuals are welcome to participate.
