Final two items on agenda tomorrow for Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawake Law Second Hearing

The Kahnawà:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission would like to remind the community that the two remaining sections of the proposed amendments to the Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke Law are the agenda items for tomorrow’s fifth meeting of the Community Decision Making Process Second Hearing.
The meeting will take place at the Karonhianohnha School gymnasium tomorrow (Tuesday, 12 Ohiarí:ha/June 2018) from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
The agenda will consist of:
• Section 15, Suspension of Entitlements; and • Section 16, Revocation of Entitlements
Copies of the Draft Law and Records of Discussion for previous meetings are available for review at the KLCC website at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com.
Should the agenda not be completed, a sixth meeting in the Second Hearing will be scheduled next Tuesday, June 19th. Should the final two sections be completed, the Formal Reading of the Law into the record and, final ratification of the process will be announced and explained at that time.
