Mercier Bridge Work Blitz Begins Friday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by the Minist�re des Transport du Quebec that a Work Blitz to repair the Mercier Bridge will take place from Friday, June 22nd at 10pm to Monday, August 20th at 5am.

During this time there will be a complete closure of the Kahnawake-bound structure. Traffic will be diverted to the Montreal-bound bridge with one lane in each direction.



The Airlie access ramp (from LaSalle to the south-bound bridge) will also be closed. However, the Bus Lane will remain accessible to authorized vehicles from 7am � 7pm daily.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
