Long-time MCK employee Brian Stacey passes away at age 57

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to offer condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Brian Stacey, who passed away this week at the age of 57.

Mr. Stacey worked for the MCK for almost 31 years, beginning his career on September 14, 1987. He spent many years as a school bus driver and was working as a Water Filtration Plant Operator at the time of his passing, which occurred during his vacation. He had previously served as a school bus driver.

He is remembered for his dedication and friendly disposition. He always had a good word for everyone.

He is survived by his children Parker Jacobs, Evan Stacey and Brice Stacey, his granddaughter Teiakohontsake, and brothers Barry and Eddie. He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Stacey.
