Tioweroton Community Engagement meeting this Saturday

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that a Community Engagement meeting will be held this Saturday, 25 Seskéha/August at the main gate at the Tioweró:ton Territory.

The purpose of the meeting is to share information on a planned social scheduled to be held on Saturday, 22 Seskehkó:wa/September, as well as provide an update on a book in development titled “Tioweró:ton” and related Kanien’kéha initiatives. Further, the idea of a Tioweró:ton Clean-up Day will also be discussed.

The meeting will take place from 10am to 12 noon. All community members, particularly those who regularly use Tioweró:ton, are welcome to attend. Please bring your own chair.
