The Councils of Kahnawake and Kanehsatake support Cultural Center event

The Mohawk Councils of Kahnawà:ke and Kanehsatá:ke are pleased to support the upcoming Traditional Social in Tioweró:ton hosted by the Kanien’kehá:ka Onkwawén:na Raotitióhkwa Language & Cultural Center.

The event takes place this Saturday, September 15th in the Tioweró:ton Territory, and both Councils are proud to participate by sponsoring the meal.

"On behalf of the Mohawk Council of Kanehsatá:ke, we′re pleased to be a part of the first annual Social in the shared community of Tioweró:ton with Kahnawake," said Chief Victor Bonspille. "Our hope is to have our youth to our elders share songs, stories and friendship between our sister communities. We look forward to other shared cultural activities, for the benefit of both communities."
