Recreation Bay Open House October 16

The Kahnawake Environment Protection Office (KEPO) would like to invite all Kahnawa�kehr�:non to a public Open House on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 6pm at the Golden Age Club.

KEPO staff will be on-hand to discuss the various aspects of the Recreation Bay (Johnson�s Beach) restoration work between 6pm and 9pm with a presentation from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

The presentation includes the design for the restoration of the Recreation Bay area, including a strategy for dredging, aquatic plant management, the creation of natural areas and the development of a beach.

The Community�s input is very important to ensure that the project meets the needs of Kahnawa�kehr�:non. Feedback will be gathered through an open question and comment period, informal discussions and written surveys.
