Tiower�:ton Road Closure

The Tiower�:ton Committee and Caretaker would like to advise all Kahnawa�kehr�:non that due to the spring thaw, the Main and East Gate (Highway 30) entrances will be closed to all vehicle traffic to preserve the integrity of the road surface.

Past experience has shown this closure necessary for up to two weeks, possibly longer, depending on how fast the snow melts and the roads dry and solidify.

It is recommended that persons wanting to access the Territory call ahead to confirm that the roads are indeed open before making the journey.
