Corner Office podcast with Grand Chief Norton- Kahnawake facing new assimilation threat

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to announce the release of a new edition of the �Corner Office � Chatting with the Grand Chief� podcast featuring the views of Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton.

The S-3 amendments to the Indian Act could mean over a million new Status �Indians� added to the current rolls. In Kahnawake, we could see potentially between 35,000 to 60,000 additions to the Mohawks of Kahnawake federal registry. On this edition of �The Corner Office� we speak to Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton for his take on the potential impacts, and what the MCK is doing about an issue that is definitely a cause for concern.
