The Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office is hosting two presentations on Friday, April 25th.
The EMERALD ASH BORER, a highly destructive insect from Asia is killing North American ash trees. Learn how this will affect the Haudenosaunee people and culture from Richard David & Peggy Pyke-Thompson.
The MEDICINAL PLANT PROJECT identifies and promotes uses of medicinal plants to encourage knowledge of traditional healing. Learn how medicines strengthen relationships and increase communication with Presentations by: Peggy Pyke-Thompson, Chris Craig & Julia Sutton.
Both presentations will take place Friday, April 25th in the Okwari Room at KSCS from 9:30am to 12pm.
