Animal Protection consulting community - your input is important

The Public Safety Unit Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform all Kahnawa′kehr�:non that community consultations have begun on proposed amendments to the Kahnaw�:ke Animal Control Law.
The consultations are being led by the Animal Protection Department and include a survey, both online and in-person, which will take place beginning today (Monday, November 26). In-person Survey Kiosks will be held at the Services Complex from 8:30am to 4pm today and Tuesday, December 4th.

�We are hopeful that the feedback received from consultations with Community Members will help guide the direction for proposed changes to the Animal Control Law,� said Animal Control Officer Deidra Whyte.
The goal is to have five hundred (500) community members participate.
Additional Community Consultations to accept feedback on animal-related issues will be held on Thursday, November 29th and Tuesday, December 6th from 6pm to 8pm at the Golden Age Club.
