Fieldwork on Tekakwitha Island to Support Recreation Bay Remediation

The Kahnawą:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) will be undertaking fieldwork on Tekakwitha Island on Thursday, November 29th to support efforts to remediate the Recreation Bay.
Fieldwork will be carried out with the assistance of AECOM, a hired consultant. Work will consist of surveying and may require the use of a backhoe to confirm the elevation of the bedrock in select locations. All excavations will be restored.
