By-election called to replace Lloyd Phillips

The Executive Office of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke is officially announcing that due to the recent notice of resignation by Ratsénhaienhs Lloyd Phillips from the Office of the Council of Chiefs a by-election is required (reference section 34.1 of the Election Law).

The mandate of Angus Montour as Electoral Officer has been re-initiated, along with that of Muriel White-Rice as Assistant Electoral Officer.

The by-election will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2019.
