MCK By-Election - Nomination Day this Saturday

The Electoral Officer for the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke By-Election wishes to remind Kahnawa�kehr�:non that Saturday, February 9th is Nomination Day. The Electoral Officer will collect nominations at the Kahnaw�:ke Services Complex Lobby from 10am to noon.

Those who intend to run are strongly encouraged to pre-verify their eligibility with the Membership Department and arrive with their nominator and seconder (both of whom must be at least 18 years of age and meet the requirements of the Kahnaw�:ke Election Law), as a trio, to expedite the registration process.

The Electoral Officer would also like to emphasize the importance of having all documents acquired that day be completed in FULL to avoid delay.  All Nominees will have a photo taken.
