Kanienkeháka of Kahnawàke Law Regulations meeting set for May 6th

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform Kahnawa’kehró:non that the Regulations developed for the Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke Law will be presented and discussed at a meeting to be held on the evening of Monday, May 6, 2019.
Presentations will be made on the following:
- The ‘Custom Code,’ on how a great-grandparent’s lineage will be determined.
- Changes to the regulation concerning the Community Review Board
- The addition of certain simple forms to the regulation concerning Applications
Explanations will be provided, and feedback will be requested from those present.
The meeting will take place at the Community Room at the Peacekeepers Station from 6:30pm to 8pm.
