Ietsénhaienhs Gina Deer attending Gaming conference in Boston

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Ietsénhaienhs Gina Deer will be attending the ICE North America conference taking place in Boston, Massachusetts today and Wednesday.

ICE North America is affiliated with the ICE International Gaming Exhibition that takes place every winter in London, England. The MCK and/or the Kahnawake Gaming Commission have participated in every London exhibition since the late 1990’s.

Agenda items include U.S. Sports & Wagering – specifically, changes to the Professional & Amateur Sports Protection Act; Sustainable Markets; Lotteries; and Regulatory Updates.

Ietsénhaienhs Deer will be exploring potential opportunities in the gaming industry for Kahnawà:ke. She is the lead on the Economic Development Portfolio for the MCK. She will return to the office on Thursday, May 16th.
