Notice of date change for Reading of Kahnaw�:ke Residency Law to Thursday, June 13, 2019

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission (KLCC) would like to inform the community that the date for the Formal Reading of the Kahnaw�:ke Residency Law has been rescheduled for Thursday, 13 Ohiar�:ha/June 2019 in the MCK Large Conference Room at 6:00pm. Kahnawa�kehr�:non and local media are welcome to observe the Law being read into the Record. As the Hearing Phase has been concluded, no further substantive feedback would be accepted during the Formal Reading.

The Certification of the Process will take place following the completion of the Formal Reading. The Reading of the Law into the Record will be filmed and made available for viewing on the KLCC website (www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com).

Once the Law has been enacted at a duly-convened Council Meeting it will be available for viewing at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com.
