Notice of Enactment of the Kahnawake Residency Law

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission wishes to advise the community that the Kahnaw�:ke Residency Law was enacted at a duly convened Council meeting held 17, Ohiar�:ha/June 2019.The Kahnaw�:ke Residency Law was passed via Mohawk Council Resolution #1/2019-2020. The Confirmation of the Will of the People was signed by all twelve (12) Chiefs in Council.

The final version of the Kahnaw�:ke Residency Law is now published and can be found at www.kahnawakemakingdecisions.com, the Community Decision Making Process website.
