Tests indicate NO asbestos in air near remediation sites, Community Information Session tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to advise community members that air sampling results received today confirm that no asbestos fibers have been detected in the air around the remediation sites in the new development on Lot 106.
The MCK would like to remind Kahnawa’kehró:non that a Community Information Session will take place this evening in regard to the current situation.
The agenda of the session is as follows:

The Information Session will take place at 7pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Ratsénhaienhs Frank McComber, who holds the Public Safety portfolio for the MCK; Ratsénhaienhs Clinton Phillips, who holds is the lead on the Environment Portfolio, and Commissioner of Public Safety Lloyd Phillips will also be present.
