Participants urged to stay on existing trails for Tioweroton �Labor Day Fun Ride� event

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to urge community members who will be participating in this weekend�s �Labor Day Fun Ride� event in Tiower�:ton to stay on existing trails to avoid harming the vegetation, plant life and medicines that occur naturally in the Territory.

The event, which includes a pig roast, has been organized by community members and is taking place this weekend. The MCK reminds participants to have fun but respect the natural habitat.
