Ratsénhaienhs LeBorgne invited to participate in 9-11 ceremonies

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Ratsénhaienhs Lindsay LeBorgne has been invited to participate in a ceremony this week to honor all deceased responders, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath following the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.

All 9/11 responders will be remembered regardless of the reason for their passing.

Ratsénhaienhs LeBorgne was one of several Kahnawa’kehró:non who went to the World Trade Center site in the days that followed the attack. He is among many who will read the names of the deceased responders.

The event will take place at St. Paul’s Chapel in New York City this Wednesday, September 11th at 3pm. It will be available for viewing live via webcast link at www.callingofthenames.com .
