Town Rink bleachers to be replaced

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that the wooden bleachers at the outdoor Town Rink (located adjacent to the ST. Lawrence Seaway) have been removed due to safety issues.

The bleachers will be replaced with built-in aluminum benches that meets current safety standards. While work is underway to prepare the ground, it is expected that the new bleachers will only be installed next spring. Community members are being asked to avoid the area while the work is being done.
