Rats�nhaienhs Ross Montour meets on Specific Claims Reform

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Rats�nhaienhs Ross Montour is in Quebec City today to participate in a National Dialogue Session on Specific Claims Reform.

The meeting is being hosted by the Assembly of First Nations to provide an overview of the history of specific claims issues, principles and options, and to engage First Nations on the creation of an independent process.

Participants are expected to give feedback and provide ideas on what an independent process should include.

Rats�nhaienhs Montour is expected to return to the office tomorrow.
