Important notice regarding Social Assistance

Client Based Services of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawą:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that there will be a one-time-only change to the procedure for social assistance cheques issued by the MCK this Friday, November 29, 2019.
Due to the closure of the Canada Post Office this coming weekend, social assistance cheques will be distributed to clients, ONLY at the Social Assistance Office at the Services Complex, from 8:30am until 4pm on Friday, November 29th.
Cheques will not be available at the post-office as previously reported via the MCKs Facebook page, and signs put up by Canada Post.
