Pier inspection work under Mercier Bridge

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK) would like to inform the community that authorization has been granted to the company EXP/Stantec for visual survey work on the North Wall, underneath the Mercier Bridge.

This visual survey work is part of routine maintenance and inspections carried out on the Federal portion of the Mercier Bridge and its piers.

They will be inspecting three (3) piers on the North Wall on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

The MCK would like to note that this inspection/survey work is not being carried out for the MTQ side of the Mercier bridge, nor the for the New South-Bound Span Project that was announced by the MTQ in April of 2017.
