Drafting of Regulations for the implementation of the Administrative Tribunal

The Kahnaw�:ke Legislative Coordinating Commission wishes to advise the community that the Justice Services Division of the Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has submitted an application to create regulations for the implementation of the Administrative Tribunal. These regulations will be pursuant to the Kahnaw�:ke Justice Act. A Technical Drafting Committee will soon begin the process of drafting these regulations and consulting with the community.

As required in the Community Decision Making Process, stakeholders and community members will be encouraged to participate in the consultation process that may include focus groups, kiosks, public information sessions and/or community consultation meetings.

The community will be informed once the events are scheduled.
