The Kahnawą:ke Peacekeeper Services Board would like to inform the community of the following information: The Kahnawą:ke Peacekeeper Service Board is currently seeking community representatives to fill positions on the Kahnawą:ke Peacekeepers Service Board. Interested community members must be dedicated to two-hour monthly Board meetings, and Ad-Hoc as required, adhere to confidentiality requirements and have an overall interest in advancing community policing issues.
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in an orientation session on Board Governance and responsibilities prior to being appointed to a position on the Kahnawą:ke Peacekeeper Service Board. The Board member will receive an annual honorarium based on established policy for participation.
The candidate will be required to sign a privacy waiver to permit a criminal background check and submit a detailed letter of interest no later than March 12, 2020 addressed to:
