Tioweroton Brook Trout Study Information Session March 11th

The Kahnaw�:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) wishes to invite the community to an Information Session to present the results of the 2019 Tiower�:ton Brook Trout Study on Wednesday, March 11th, beginning at 6pm at the Golden Age Club.

KEPO and Tiower�:ton staff, along with their consultant from Groupe Hemispheres will present the results of last year�s Brook Trout study. After the presentation there will be a community feedback session on a proposed Brook Trout Conservation Strategy.

In recent years, the Brook Trout population in Tiower�:ton has been identified as an area of concern. The 2019 survey was completed to assess the health of the population and to develop a conservation strategy. Your feedback is essential to develop an approach that meets the needs of the community.
