Important Notice regarding weight restrictions for Tiower�:ton bridges

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to remind community members visiting Tiower�:ton that there are important WEIGHT LIMITS IN EFFECT for the bridges on the Territory.
Please note the following:
- The bridge at the Campsite is limited to light vehicles only � NO trucks
- The bridge at the falls is limited to one (1) ton ONLY
- The main bridge is approved for normal traffic at this time
- Signage is in place to indicate the limits at the affected bridges.
Please note that propane suppliers are not authorized/permitted to cross bridges should they be over the weight limit. Insurance companies will not cover the suppliers in the event of an incident. More important, any such incident would put the pristine environment in Tiower�:ton at great risk, so please be vigilant.
