The Kahnawake Peacekeepers are advising community members to be aware of scam text messages that appear to be from Canada Emergency Response Benefit at 1-443-688-7080. The message advises the recipient that their funding has been issued successfully.

Do not respond to these messages, do not click on any links within the text message, or provide any personal information to any service you haven’t initiated yourself.
