Court of Kahnawake sessions cancelled until August, Justices will not officiate weddings

The Court of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to advise the public that court sessions scheduled for Wednesday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 26, 2020 have been postponed as a measure of health and safety during the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

Regular court sessions shall resume on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, depending on the pandemic.

Any persons who have concerns should contact their lawyer or Mtre. Isabelle Lamarche, Prosecutor for the Court of Kahnaw�:ke, at 514-946-5947.

Additionally, for the same reasons, the Justices of the Peace will not be officiating weddings until it is deemed safe to do so.
