Pier work under Mercier Bridge R-132/R-138 west

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawake (MCK) has been advised by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that concrete chipping work will take place on Pier 38, located under the Mercier Bridge on the R-132/R-138 west access road.

The work will take place in the area before the CP Rail overpass this Saturday, May 23rd, between 6am and 2pm.

This work will require a partial closure of the R-132/R-138 access road, and motorists are advised to drive with caution and obey all posted signs.

This work is considered essential and approved by the Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Pandemic Task Force.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
