Warning - re Indian Day Schools payment fraud

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to remind the community to be vigilant for fraudsters regarding Indian Day Schools Class Action payments.

Claimants have reported calls from people asking for personal and financial information relating to their payment.

The be clear, Gowling and Deloitte (the firm handing the payment process) are not asking for, and do not need this information from you. In respect to the Claims Process, do not give out personal banking information.
