MCK & Marina to enter new lease

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that it has authorized Martin Stacey, Director of MCK Lands, to sign a lease extension with the Kahnawake Marina through 2023. 

The MCK and the Kahnawake Marina have agreed to a new lease agreement extension, including amounts to be paid, but the lease has not been signed, and therefore, details cannot be shared at this time. Some details will be shared once the agreement is signed.

The decision was made at the duly convened Council meeting on Monday, June 8, 2020, by 10 Council members with Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton (vacation) not in attendance and Michael Delisle Jr. abstaining due to conflict of interest.
