Dreams Take Flight cancelled

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) regrets to announce that it has been informed that this year’s Dreams Take Flight has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All events, fundraisers and the flight to Disney have been cancelled due to the health and safety effects of the COVID-19 virus.

The MCK has been involved in the program since 2005. During that time dozens of Kahnawà:ke children have experienced the trip of a lifetime courtesy of Dreams Take Flight, a volunteer-based charitable organization dedicated to providing a magical experience to disadvantaged children – at no cost to the kids or their families.
