Accident Shuts Down 132

A multi-vehicle accident shut down a section of the 132 this morning.
At approximately 08:41, a motorcycle heading west bound towards the Mercier Bridge, was struck by a passenger car near Bully’s Truck Stop.
The non-local’s motorcycle then slid into the east bound lanes, where it was struck by a passing transport truck.
The non-local female driver of the passenger car was transported to Anna Laberge Hospital suffering from minor injuries and shock.
The male motorcyclist was also transported to Anna Laberge Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
Peacekeepers shut down the 132 between Survival School and G.D’s for a period of three hours, in order to conduct an investigation.
No other information will be released at this time, as the accident remains under investigation.
