Grand Chief returns from Medical Leave

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke wishes to inform the community that Grand Chief Joseph Tokwiro Norton has returned from Medical Leave.

On June 17th it was announced that Grand Chief Norton had undergone a medical procedure and would take Leave. The recovery went well and he returned this past Monday, participating in the duly-convened Council meeting. Iets�nhaienhs Gina Deer had been handling intake and management of the Office of the Grand Chief during this time on an interim basis.
