Council Meeting postponed until Monday, August 31st

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the weekly duly-convened Council meeting scheduled for today has been rescheduled to Monday, August 31st, 2020.

The meeting was postponed due to the passing of Mr. Peter Rice, out of respect for his immediate family, including his daughter Ietsénhaienhs Gina Deer, and close relative and friend Ratsénhaienhs Lindsay LeBorgne.

The MCK offers its sincere condolences to Ietsénhaienhs Deer and the family and friends of Mr. Rice.
