Aquaponics Survey underway, to conclude on September 9th

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that Brandon Bordeau will be conducting a telephone survey on the proposed Aquaponics survey that has been underway for the past two weeks. Mr. Bordeau is an independent contractor who has successfully conducted several surveys for the MCK in the past.

The survey will continue for the next two weeks and will conclude on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 4pm. While Mr. Bordeau will be contacting as many persons as possible, those wishing to participate online are welcome to do so at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BF276HN. 

“We have seen that a good proportion of our people are either supportive or, at the very least, intrigued by the Aquaponics concept,” said Ratsénhaienhs Cody Diabo, who has been spearheading the project. “We are asking community members to take a few minutes to answer the ten (10) question survey, which focuses specifically on certain aspects of the food industry. By participating, you could have a direct influence on the direction the project will take.”

“We are urging those who wish to participate to watch a video that we have produced to help explain the Aquaponics concept,” he concluded.
